Website Forwarding (Redirect to URL)

Website forwarding, or URL redirection, is a technique that automatically forwards visitors from one URL or website to a different one.

This article shows you how to forward your website vistors to another website or URL.

This tutorial assumes that you have already Added a Domain to the Hosting Control Panel.

1. Log into your Hosting Control Panel.

2. Click Web Sites icon option

3. Click on the website name that you wish to setup website forwarding on

4. In the website properties select the Home Tab

5. Select the option for Redirection to URL

6. Type in the Redirect URL where you would like your website's domain to forward visitors to. This can be a different domain such as https://www.example.com, or a page or folder on another website such as https://example.com/new-location.

7. You have the option to make additional selections that determine where visitors are directed. If you want to set up a permanent redirect to the new location, be sure to check the box for 'Enable permanent redirect'. This will inform search engines to update their indexes accordingly.

8. Click Save Changes
