Website Hosting Support - Flexible Part Time
 We are looking for a Windows Web Hosting Technical Support and a new friend to join Web Wiz in Poole, Bournemouth. Web Wiz is growing rapidly, and we need you as soon as possible to help us make our services even better.
Who are we?
Established in 2001, Web Wiz Ltd. is a Green Hosting and Data Centre Services Provider offering a range of Eco-Friendly Data Centre Services, Windows Web Hosting, Managed Cloud and Dedicated Servers, and Domain Name Registration Services.
Who are we looking for?
- A true "geek" who has a basic understanding of web hosting technologies and who likes to solve technical problems
- An appetite for learning new skills
- A colleague who wants to work in a team and is friendly
What will be your job?
- Answering support questions.
- Communication with customers via a support ticket system, phone, and social media.
- Interacting with customers via social media and blogs.
- Administering Windows Servers (training provided).
- Build, maintain and repair Server and Network Equipment (training provided).
Job requirements
- It is very important that you are located within 20 minutes commute of our facility in Poole, Dorset.
- Flexibility is important.
- Working understanding of Web Infrastructures such as Http(s), Website files, DNS, Email, FTP, SQL Server, and MySQL
- Perfect written English skills.
- Work remotely but also expected to work at our facility when required.
- If you have other work, you must be able to answer support questions as they come in around your other work.
What's in for you?

- Training in new skills in Windows Server, building servers, and network administration.
- Able to work around other work - Ideal for a self-employed website developer or IT consultant

Interview
- You will be expected to do a 10-minute presentation at an interview showcasing your web development skills.
